Preparation
- In a pot, combine water, butter, and salt. Bring to a boil.
- Add the flour and stir until a dough forms.
- Allow the mixture to cool slightly, then mix in the eggs one at a time and the vanilla extract until smooth.
Cooking
- Heat oil in a fryer or deep pan.
- Use a piping bag to pipe the dough into ring shapes into the hot oil, frying until golden brown on both sides.
- Remove and drain on paper towels.
Glazing
- In a separate bowl, mix powdered sugar, strawberry puree, and milk to create the glaze.
- Dip cooled crullers into the glaze and set on a wire rack to let the glaze set.

These crullers are best enjoyed fresh! Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
