Preparation
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.
- In a small saucepan, combine milk and butter; heat until warm. Add to the dry mixture along with the egg.
- Knead until smooth and let rise for about 1 hour.
Assembly
- Roll the dough out into a rectangle, spread with chopped strawberries, and sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon.
- Roll up the dough tightly and slice into pieces.
- Place in a greased baking dish and let rise again for 30 minutes.
Baking
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
Glazing
- For the glaze, mix powdered sugar, cream cheese, and milk until smooth.
- Drizzle over warm rolls and serve.
Notes
Best served warm. They can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for about 3-4 days or frozen for up to 2 months. Let cool slightly before glazing.
