Ingredients
  

Noodles and Sauce
  • 8 ounces noodles (rice or egg noodles) You can use either rice noodles or egg noodles.
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce For a teriyaki twist, replace with teriyaki sauce.
  • 2 tablespoons honey Can adjust to taste.
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes Optional for added heat.
Main Ingredients
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 pound chicken breast, thinly sliced Can substitute for shrimp or tofu.
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced Do not let the garlic burn when cooking.
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Cook the noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the sliced chicken and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Add the minced garlic and stir-fry for an additional minute until fragrant.
Sauce and Combine
  1. In a bowl, mix together soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, and crushed red pepper flakes.
  2. Pour the sauce over the chicken, stirring to coat.
  3. Add the cooked noodles to the skillet and toss to combine.
  4. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until everything is heated through.
  5. Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

For a spicier variation, add more red pepper flakes. For an easy meal prep, these can be stored in the fridge for 3-4 days in an airtight container. Can be reheated with a splash of water to retain moisture.
