- In a mixing bowl, combine the heavy whipping cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. If using cornstarch, add it as well.
- Using an electric mixer, beat the mixture on medium speed until soft peaks form.
- Increase the speed to high and continue to whip until stiff peaks form and the cream holds its shape.
- Use immediately or refrigerate until ready to use.
Notes
Chill your mixing bowls and beaters for best results. Store in an airtight container for up to 2-3 days in the fridge.
