  • 6 large eggs 6 large eggs Use farm-fresh eggs for best results
  • 1 cup 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup 1 cup chopped fresh spinach Squeeze excess water to avoid sogginess
  • 1 cup 1 cup diced ham
  • 1 cup 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Swiss) Choose your favorite type
  • to taste N/A Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg (optional) Add for extra flavor

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk until well blended.
  3. Stir in the chopped spinach, diced ham, shredded cheese, salt, pepper, and nutmeg if using.
  4. Place the pie crust in a pie dish and pour the egg mixture directly into the crust.
Cooking
  1. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until the quiche is set and lightly golden.
  2. Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

This quiche can be served warm with a side salad or cold the next day. Store leftovers in the fridge for 3 to 4 days or freeze individual slices for up to 2 months.
