Ingredients
  

Seafood Filling
  • 8 oz Cooked Lobster Meat
  • 8 oz Lump Crab Meat
  • 1/2 cup Mayo
  • 1 stalk Celery, diced
  • 2 tbsp Scallions, chopped
  • 1 tbsp Dill
  • 1 tbsp Basil
  • 1 tbsp Chives
  • 1 medium Jalapeño, optional Adjust according to spice preference.
  • 1 ea Lemon, zested and juiced
  • 1 tsp Pink Sea Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 tsp Old Bay Seasoning
Buns
  • 4 ea New England Style Buns
  • 2 tbsp Softened Butter, Olive Oil, or Mayo For toasting buns.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, combine the cooked lobster meat and lump crab meat. Flake them gently with a fork.
  2. Add the mayo, celery, scallions, dill, basil, chives, and jalapeño (if using). Mix until well combined.
  3. Stir in the zest and juice of the lemon, pink sea salt, black pepper, and Old Bay seasoning. Adjust seasoning to your taste.
Bun Toasting
  1. In another pan, heat your preferred option (butter, olive oil, or mayo) and toast the New England style buns until golden and crispy.
Assembly
  1. Fill each bun generously with the seafood mixture. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

Tips: Don't skip toasting the buns for that crispy exterior. You can use Greek yogurt as a mayo substitute for a lighter version.
