Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, whisk together the eggs and half and half until combined.
- Stir in the gruyere cheese, parmesan cheese, and crab meat. Season with salt and pepper.
- Place the store-bought pie crust into a pie dish.
- Pour the egg mixture into the pie crust.
Baking
- Bake for 35-40 minutes or until the quiche is set and lightly browned on top.
- Allow to cool for a few minutes before slicing. Serve warm.
Notes
Let it cool before slicing for clean pieces. You can use other seafood like shrimp or smoked salmon. For a crispy crust, blind bake the pie crust for 10 minutes before adding the filling. Pair with a fresh green salad and lemon vinaigrette for a complete meal. Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days or frozen for 2 months.
