Ingredients
  

Smoothie Ingredients
  • 1 cup mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
  • 1 tablespoon hemp seeds
  • 1 medium banana Use a ripe banana for natural sweetness.
  • 1 cup almond milk Or any milk of choice.
  • 1 scoop protein powder Optional for added protein.
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup Optional to sweeten to taste.
  • as needed cups ice cubes Optional for chilling.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a blender, combine the mixed berries, hemp seeds, banana, and almond milk.
  2. If desired, add the protein powder and honey or maple syrup to taste.
  3. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  4. If you like it chilled, toss in some ice cubes and blend again.
  5. Pour into a glass and enjoy immediately!

Notes

For a thicker smoothie, add more banana, avocado, or Greek yogurt. Store leftover smoothie in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours or freeze for up to a month. Use frozen berries for creamier texture.
