Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Pat the chicken breasts dry and pound them to a uniform thickness.
  3. Season the chicken with salt, pepper, and optional garlic powder and smoked paprika.
Assembly
  1. Spread ranch dressing over the chicken.
  2. Drizzle barbecue sauce on top.
  3. Top with shredded cheddar cheese and crispy fried onions.
Cooking
  1. Place chicken in a baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and chicken reaches 165°F (75°C).
  2. Let it rest briefly before serving.
