Ingredients
  

Pasta
  • 8 oz pasta (spaghetti or fettuccine)
Shrimp
  • 1 lb shrimp (peeled and deveined)
Cooking Essentials
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
Garnish
  • Fresh herbs (parsley or basil) for garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Add shrimp to the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and cook until shrimp are pink and cooked through, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  4. Reduce heat and stir in the heavy cream, allowing it to simmer for a few minutes.
  5. Add grated Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and combined.
  6. Toss the cooked pasta into the creamy shrimp sauce, making sure to coat the pasta well.
  7. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh herbs.

Notes

For an elevated experience, serve with a crisp, green salad or garlic bread and a glass of white wine. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
