  • 2 lbs lobster meat Fresh or frozen lobster meat
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise Adjust to taste
  • 1/4 cup celery, diced Adds crunch
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice Freshly squeezed for best flavor
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt Adjust to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper Freshly ground preferred
  • 4 pieces hot dog buns Choose fresh, soft buns
  • 2 tablespoons butter For toasting buns

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Boil the lobsters until they are fully cooked.
  2. Remove the lobster meat from the shells and chop it into bite-sized pieces.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the lobster meat with mayonnaise, diced celery, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
Cooking
  1. Toast the hot dog buns in butter until golden brown.
  2. Fill each toasted bun with the lobster mixture.
  3. Serve immediately, garnished with extra lemon if desired.

Notes

Store leftover lobster mix in an airtight container in the fridge for up to two days. Do not freeze. Use fresh lobster for best flavor, frozen is acceptable if needed. Add herbs or hot sauce for variations.
