Ingredients
  

Crust and Filling
  • 1 pie crust 1 pie crust Store-bought or homemade
  • 6 slices 6 slices of bacon, chopped Cook until crispy
  • 1 cup 1 cup of shredded Gruyère cheese Can substitute with cheddar or other cheeses
  • 4 large 4 large eggs Room temperature for better mixing
  • 1 cup 1 cup of heavy cream For a rich custard texture
  • to taste Salt and pepper to taste Season according to preference
  • 1/4 cup 1/4 cup of chopped onions (optional) Add for extra flavor

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove and let it drain on paper towels.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, salt, and pepper.
  4. Place the pie crust in a pie dish and spread the cooked bacon and shredded cheese evenly on the bottom. Add chopped onions if desired.
  5. Pour the egg mixture over the filling, ensuring even distribution.
Baking
  1. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes until the quiche is set and lightly golden.
  2. Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

Serve warm, pair with salad or roasted veggies. For long-term storage, freeze individual slices for up to 2 months.
