Ingredients
  

Lobster Ingredients
  • 1 3/4 lb whole lobster Or substitute with 4 lobster tails or 1 lb lobster meat
  • 1 tbsp fresh squeezed lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp diced chives
  • 1/2 tbsp minced parsley
  • 2 tbsp diced celery
  • to taste salt
  • to taste fresh cracked black pepper
Bun Ingredients
  • 2 pieces hot dog buns
  • 1 tbsp salted butter Melted

Method
 

Cooking the Lobster
  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil. Add the lobster and cook for about 8–10 minutes until it turns bright red. Remove and cool in an ice bath.
Preparing the Lobster Meat
  1. Once cooled, extract the meat from the lobster, discarding the shells. Chop the lobster into bite-sized pieces.
Making the Lobster Rolls
  1. In a bowl, combine the lobster meat, lemon juice, mayonnaise, chives, parsley, and celery. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Toasting the Buns
  1. In a skillet, toast the hot dog buns in melted butter until golden.
Assembly
  1. Spoon the lobster mixture generously into each bun and prepare for pure bliss.

Notes

Enjoy your lobster rolls fresh. Store in the fridge for up to 2 days, but prefer to assemble just before serving. For variations, try Old Bay seasoning, Greek yogurt, or diced jalapeños.
