  • 2 limes 2 limes (juiced) Freshly juiced for the best flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • to taste Salt and pepper to taste Adjust according to preference.
Main Ingredients
  • 4 pieces 4 chicken breasts Boneless, skinless preferred.
  • 1 piece 1 avocado (diced) Adds creaminess to the dish.
  • 1/4 cup 1/4 cup fresh cilantro (chopped) For garnish.
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil for cooking For skillet cooking.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, mix lime juice, chili powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Marinate the chicken breasts in the mixture for at least 30 minutes.
Cooking
  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Cook the marinated chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until fully cooked.
Serving
  1. Serve topped with diced avocado and chopped cilantro.

Notes

For more flavor, allow chicken to marinate for several hours. Can be served with rice or greens, with a squeeze of lime juice on top. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
