Ingredients
  

For the sandwich
  • 1 loaf Focaccia bread
  • 4 slices Sliced mozzarella cheese
  • 1 large Sliced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup Fresh basil leaves
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon Balsamic vinegar
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Slice the focaccia bread in half horizontally.
  2. Drizzle olive oil and balsamic vinegar on both halves.
  3. Layer sliced mozzarella cheese, tomatoes, and fresh basil leaves on the bottom half.
  4. Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Place the top half of the focaccia on the sandwich.
  6. Cut into portions and serve immediately.

Notes

Add slices of avocado for crunch, or use pesto for extra flavor. If you want a warm sandwich, toast both sides before adding fillings. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 2 days, wrapped in foil.
