Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half and place the bottom halves on a baking sheet.
- Butter the inside of each roll generously.
- Add a slice of cheese to each roll — the gooier, the better!
- Place the top halves of the rolls over the cheese.
- Brush the tops with more butter for that golden finish.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-15 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the rolls are golden brown.
- Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, and serve warm.
Notes
Serve with tomato basil soup, sprinkle of herbs, and dipping sauces like spicy ketchup or garlic aioli. Store in the fridge for 3-4 days or freeze for up to 2 months. Reheat in the oven.
