Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line your baking sheets with parchment paper.

- Add the large egg, the extra yolk, and pure vanilla extract to the mixture, beating until well combined.
Mixing and Baking
- Gradually incorporate the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, stirring just until combined.
- Roll the dough into 1-inch balls and place them on the baking sheets, about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, until the edges are lightly golden and the centers are soft.
- Let the cookies cool on the baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
