Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Lay out the high-protein tortillas or wraps flat on a clean surface.
- In a medium bowl, combine the cooked, seasoned ground turkey or chicken with marinara sauce, garlic powder, and oregano. Mix until smooth and well-blended.
- Spread a thin layer of the meat filling onto each tortilla, keeping about half an inch of a border around the sides.
- Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese evenly over the meat filling.
- Layer on the turkey pepperoni slices for that savory flavor.
- Starting from one edge, roll the filled tortillas tightly to form compact logs. If needed, use a dab of the meat mixture to stick the edges.
- Place the rolls seam-side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Brush the tops lightly with olive oil spray or an egg wash for that golden finish.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, until the edges are crispy and cheese has melted.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Serving
- Garnish with optional chili flakes, fresh basil, or extra cottage cheese. Enjoy with your favorite dipping sauce!
Notes
Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3-4 days in an airtight container. You can also freeze them for longer storage — they'll stay good for about 2-3 months. To reheat, pop them in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 10 minutes, or until warmed through.
