  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon honey optional for sweetness
  • 1 each egg for egg wash
Toppings
  • to taste sesame seeds, everything seasoning, or desired toppings

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the flour, Greek yogurt, baking powder, salt, and honey. Mix until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for a few minutes until smooth and glossy.
  4. Divide the dough into equal portions and shape each piece into a bagel shape.
Baking
  1. Place the bagels on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  2. Beat the egg and brush it over the bagels for that golden finish.
  3. Sprinkle your choice of toppings on top for added flavor.
  4. Bake for about 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  5. Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

To store, keep bagels wrapped in an airtight container for up to 3 days at room temperature, or refrigerate for a week. They can be frozen for up to 3 months.
