  • 2 slices Artisan bread Choose your favorite type
  • 2 tbsp Mayonnaise Can substitute with mustard or pesto
Main Fillings
  • 4 oz Quality deli meats (turkey, roast beef, etc.) Use a mix of your favorites
  • 1 slice Cheese (cheddar, Swiss, provolone) Pick your preferred type
Fresh Vegetables
  • 1 cup Fresh vegetables (lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers) Chopped or sliced as needed
Seasonings
  • to taste Salt, pepper, herbs Use your favorite seasonings

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Start by selecting your artisan bread and slice it if needed.
  2. Layer quality deli meats on one slice of bread.
  3. Add a slice of cheese on top of the meats.
  4. Layer fresh vegetables like lettuce, tomatoes, and cucumbers.
  5. Spread your choice of condiment on the other slice of bread.
  6. Close the sandwich and press down gently.
  7. Slice in half for easier serving.

Notes

Wrap leftovers tightly in foil or plastic wrap and store in the fridge for up to 3 days. For freshness, prepare fillings a day in advance and avoid freezing.
