Preparation
- In a small bowl, combine the softened butter, garlic powder, and dried parsley. Mix until smooth.
- Spread the prepared garlic butter generously onto one side of each slice of bread.
Cooking
- Preheat a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
- Place two slices of bread in the skillet, buttered side down, and sprinkle the cheese blend evenly on top.
- Top with the remaining slices of bread, buttered side up, and press gently with a spatula.
- Grill for about 3-4 minutes until golden brown. Carefully flip and grill the other side until crispy and the cheese is melted.
- Remove from the pan, let cool briefly, cut diagonally, and serve hot.
Notes
Serve hot with tomato soup or a garden salad. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in a skillet for a couple of minutes to restore crunch.
