Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Place the thawed puff pastry squares on a lightly floured surface.
- Spoon about 2 tablespoons of apple pie filling onto the center of each pastry square.
- Fold each square diagonally to form triangles, then curve the straight edges inward and press with a fork to seal.
- Whisk together the egg and water until combined, then brush each croissant with this mixture.
- Sprinkle each pastry generously with raw sugar.
Baking
- Bake in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes or until puffed up and golden brown.
- Allow to cool for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or caramel sauce for a delightful treat. For a twist, sprinkle cinnamon on top.
