  • 2 cloves garlic, minced To enhance the flavor of the sauce.
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped For garnish and freshness.
  • to taste Salt and pepper Adjust according to personal preference.

Method

Preparation
  1. Season the filet mignon steaks generously with salt and pepper.
  2. In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat and sear the steaks for 4-5 minutes on each side for that perfect medium-rare.
  3. Remove the steaks from the skillet and let them rest.
Cooking the Sauce
  1. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
  2. Toss in the shrimp and lobster meat, cooking until the shrimp turns pink.
  3. Pour in the heavy cream and let it simmer until the sauce thickens.
  4. Stir in chopped parsley and season with more salt and pepper if needed.
Serving
  1. Serve the rested filet mignon topped with the shrimp and lobster cream sauce.

Notes

Let the steak rest to lock in the juices for maximum flavor. Consider switching shrimp for scallops for a variation. To make it saucier, add a splash more of heavy cream while simmering. Garnish with extra parsley for freshness.
