  • 6 large large eggs
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded Gruyere or cheddar cheese Choose your preferred cheese.
  • ½ cup cooked bacon or ham (chopped)
  • ½ cup chopped spinach Fresh spinach for better flavor.
  • ½ cup chopped onion
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil For sautéing.
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, heat the olive oil and sauté the onion and spinach until soft.
  3. In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, heavy cream, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Stir in the bacon or ham and sautéed veggies.
  5. Fold in the shredded cheese.
  6. Transfer your mixture to a greased pie dish or baking pan.
  7. Bake for about 30–35 minutes until set and golden.
  8. Allow it to cool slightly before slicing. Enjoy!

Notes

This quiche is great for meal prep! It keeps in the fridge for about 4 to 5 days. Just pop it in an airtight container. To reheat, microwave a slice for about 1-2 minutes or heat in the oven at 350°F until warm.
