  • 4 medium Ripe Bananas Use overripe bananas for better flavor.
  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 2 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup Butter, melted
Crumb Topping Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup Butter, melted

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. Mash the ripe bananas in a bowl until smooth.
  3. Mix in sugar, egg, and melted butter until well blended.
  4. Add flour, baking soda, and cinnamon, combining until just mixed.
  5. Transfer the batter to the prepared loaf pan.
Making Crumb Topping
  1. In a separate bowl, mix together brown sugar, flour, cinnamon, and melted butter for the crumb topping.
  2. Sprinkle the crumb topping generously over the batter.
Baking
  1. Bake for 60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  2. Cool, slice, and enjoy!

Notes

Cool completely before slicing to prevent it from becoming gooey. Store leftovers in an airtight container.
