  • 1 cup softened salted butter Bring to room temperature
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 2 cups chocolate chips 12 oz

Preparation
  1. Ensure all ingredients are at room temperature.
  2. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
Mixing Ingredients
  1. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened salted butter with granulated and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  2. Mix in the pure vanilla extract and eggs, one at a time.
  3. In another bowl, whisk the all-purpose flour, baking soda, baking powder, and sea salt.
  4. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet mixture until it forms a smooth dough.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips with a spatula.
Shaping and Baking
  1. Use a cookie scoop or your hands to form cookie balls and place them on the prepared baking sheets.
  2. Chill in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes until the edges are golden brown.
  4. Let cool on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes
