Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and chili powder until smooth.
  2. Fold in the chopped bacon, cheddar cheese, green onions, and hot sauce (if using).
  3. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Transfer to a serving dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

This dip can be prepared ahead of time and keeps well in an airtight container in the fridge for about 5 days. It's best enjoyed fresh.
