Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, combine the mashed bananas and browned butter, mixing well.
- Add the brown sugar and granulated sugar, and mix until combined.
- Stir in the egg and vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, whisk together the baking soda, salt, and flour.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the banana mixture, stirring until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
Baking
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 60-65 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
Enjoy warm with butter or paired with coffee or ice cream. For storage, keep at room temperature for 3 days, refrigerate for a week, or freeze for up to 3 months.
