  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
  • 1 piece banana
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Ice cubes (optional)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a blender, combine rolled oats, milk, blueberries, banana, honey or maple syrup, and vanilla extract.
  2. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  3. If desired, add ice cubes and blend again until smooth.
  4. Pour into a glass and enjoy immediately.

Notes

For a thicker texture, use frozen bananas. Serve chilled in a beautiful glass topped with fresh blueberries, or add granola for crunch.
