Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease and line a 9x13-inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, mash the bananas until smooth.
- Add the melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Beat until combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, and cocoa powder.
- Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet mixture until just combined.
- Stir in the milk and chocolate chips if you're feeling extra decadent.
- Spread the batter evenly in the prepared pan.
- Mix the brown sugar and cinnamon, sprinkle it over the batter, and dot with the small pieces of butter.
Baking
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out with a few crumbs.
- Cool for 10 minutes, then transfer to a rack to cool completely.
- Slice into squares and enjoy!
Notes
Letting brownies cool fully means perfectly fudgy squares that won’t crumble when sliced. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream for added indulgence.
