Cabbage Preparation
  • 1 head head of cabbage
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: garlic powder, paprika, or your favorite herbs Add according to taste

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Slice the cabbage into thick rounds (about 1 inch each).
  3. Brush both sides of each cabbage steak with olive oil and season with salt, pepper, and any optional spices.
  4. Place the cabbage steaks on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are golden and caramelized.
  6. Serve warm as a side dish or main course.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for about 3-4 days. Reheat in the oven for best results.
