  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined Fresh shrimp is preferred.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 limes Juice of 2 limes Freshly squeezed.
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder Adjust according to spice tolerance.
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin Adjust for earthiness.
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish

Method
 

Cooking
  1. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Toss in the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn pink.
  4. Season with chili powder, paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper.
  5. Squeeze lime juice over the shrimp and stir to combine.
  6. Remove from heat, garnish with fresh cilantro, and serve in tacos, salads, or as a standalone dish.

Notes

Tips for perfect shrimp: Use fresh shrimp, don't overcook, and feel free to add diced tomatoes or bell peppers for extra flavor. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 2 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
