Ingredients
  

Base Ingredients
  • 6 large large eggs Fresh for best results
  • 1 cup milk Can substitute with any plant-based milk
  • 1 cup diced ham Optional, can replace with vegetables
  • 1 cup shredded cheese Cheddar or your choice
Optional Ingredients
  • 1 cup chopped spinach Or any other vegetables
  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder Optional
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder Optional

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk until well combined.
  3. Stir in the diced ham, shredded cheese, and any additional vegetables.
  4. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder to taste.
  5. Pour the mixture into a greased 9-inch pie dish or baking dish.
Baking
  1. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the quiche is set in the middle and lightly golden on top.
Serving
  1. Allow to cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

Timing is key for cooling to help with cutting neat slices. You can prepare it the night before and bake in the morning for convenience.
