Baking
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, cream together the softened butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Mix in the maple syrup for that sweet kick.
- Gradually add the flour and baking soda, stirring until well combined.
- Drop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden.
- Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
These cookies can be served with vanilla ice cream or drizzled with warm maple syrup for an extra treat. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to a week or freeze with parchment paper in between to prevent sticking.
