Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, cream together the softened butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy.

  4. Gradually add the flour and baking soda, stirring until well combined.
  5. Drop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  7. Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

These cookies can be served with vanilla ice cream or drizzled with warm maple syrup for an extra treat. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to a week or freeze with parchment paper in between to prevent sticking.
